SPRING GRADUATION 2012, VOCATIONAL NURSING CLASS 19
05-Mar-2012“Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Dreams Really Do Come True....”

Friday, March 2, 2012, marked the day when the Vocational Nursing Class 19 graduates of Premiere Career College found their pot of gold. In her opening remarks, Ms. Jennifer Ty-De Guzman, the Director of Nursing, congratulated the VN Class 19 for all their efforts while Dr. Fe Ludovico- Aragon, the Executive Director, informed them that their dreams have already come true, and now is the time to claim their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

The Guest Speaker was Ms. Kathleen Suyat, RN, one of the first ever graduates of Premiere, VN Class 1, in 2005. In her emotional speech, she inspired the graduates to persevere to achieve their dreams and also informed everyone that she has just been hired to become a member of the VN Faculty at Premiere.
Ms. Alexis Lemelle and Ms. Lisa Viera, gave the Student Affirmation speeches, filled with humorous experiences and heartfelt thanks to their families, and the faculty and administrative staff of Premiere.
During the Ceremony of Lights, the graduates were serenaded by the strums of ukuleles and additional instruments, with the Premiere Choir’s rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” led by Ronald Permejo Lim, a VN Class 19 graduate.
Dr. Ramon Sison Geluz, the Director of Education and Administration, explained the meaning of the different awards and announced the awardees:

Florence Nightingale Awards: Alexis Lemelle, Lisa Viera, and Danielle Martinez
Nathan Nurse Award: Adrian Rodriguez
Perfect Attendance Awards: Melissa Judilla, Danielle Martinez, Elizabeth Mungai, Deseree Suyat
Leadership Award: Adrian Rodriguez
Second Honorable Mention Award: Bertha Osorio
First Honorable Mention Award: Lisa Marie Viera
Academic Achievement Award: Alexis Lemelle
Director’s Recignition Award: Lisa Viera
PREMIERE CAREER COLLEGE faculty members and Class 19 graduating class prepare for their cue to enter the ceremonial area at the Courtyard Marriott in Baldwin Park last March 2 for the Spring 2012 Graduation of Vocational Nursing Class 19.

MEMBERS OF CLASS 19 cheer their fellow graduate who like them faces a new chapter in his life as a health care professional replete with challenges and opportunities.

VN 19 GRADUATES show mix emotions at their graduation rite they will remember for years to come for being staged like a professional production number.

PROMISE TO SERVE: Members of Class 19 recite their graduation pledge as the Premiere College Choir serenades them with songs of inspiration of golden opportunities that lie ahead. Years of quality training at Premiere Career College have equipped them for the challenges in the health profession.

THE CANDLE LIGHT illuminates the path ahead of the members of Class 19 as they turn a new chapter in their lives in their career in the health profession.

LIKE FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE, a celebrated English nurse known also as “The Lady with the Lamp”, the lamps of the members of Class 19 will shine upon humanity as they practice their profession for which Premiere Career College prepared them thoroughly for.
