Student Financial Aid in California
Premiere Career College offers you a range of student financial aid services to help you maximize your learning experience.
Currently, our California college actively participates in the following student financial aid programs:
- Federal Pell Grant (FPG)
- Federal Direct Student Loan (FDSL)
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Pell Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a Bachelors or Professional degree (a professional degree would include a degree in a field such as pharmacy or dentistry). For many students, Pell Grants provide a foundation of financial aid to which other aid may be added. Students qualified to receive full Pell Grants may also receive an additional FSEOG based on their needs.
Our Financial Aid Officers can provide you with information on how to apply for the FPG, the FSEOG, and the FDSL. We may also give you estimates on the amount you may qualify for based on the information you provide. However, the federal authorities, not the school, determine your eligibility to receive the grant and the amount of assistance you may receive.
In the event you don't qualify for any federal funding assistance, you can make arrangements with our accounting office to possibly pay your tuition in installments. Tuition and fees can be paid on a monthly basis up to a maximum of 15 months, with no interest.
Vocational Rehabilitation and Welfare-to-Work Programs
Applicants who are referred for vocational rehabilitation through a private or state agency (WIA or W-t-W programs) are accepted as regular students. Our Admissions Office will provide full assistance in your application process.
To speed up processing, fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid and present it when you apply.
Training for Veterans and Eligible Persons
Premiere Career College is approved to train veterans and eligible persons through the Title 38 program of the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, in accordance with sections 21.42543 and 21.4254 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
